The REPLAY project has studied innovative applications of plaster waste from laminated plasterboard of post-industrial and post-consumption origin (construction and demolition waste). The main aim has been to obtain recycled plaster of sufficient quality to be reincorporated in the process of manufacturing LP or other construction items. The project has also studied alternative applications for recycled plaster in animal beds and as substrate for crops.
The project has been carried out by a team consisting of ZICLA, Volbas and the Gaiker Technology Centre and has been financed by the Basque Government’s Department of Economic Development and Competitiveness and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
