SEAT & LIGHT: Development of a seat with a light by reusing old streetlamps.

The purpose of the Seat & Light project was to develop a glass seat that was also a lamp, providing light at ground level. The project, developed with the cooperation of a social inclusion organisation, made it possible to give a new life to old streetlamps which a local council had replaced with new ones.

Seat & Light had great educational value, as it showed once again that many products could have a second life with greater value than in the first (“upcycling”).
