The aim of the project was to demonstrate that the recovery of material and energy from big bag waste was viable from a technical and economic point of view. Big bag waste is largely generated in the construction and food sectors and the biggest difficulties in recovering it lie in the fact that it consists of polyamides and polypropylene and in shredding it.
Development of plastic boards.
The actions concentrated on preparing the waste so it could be used industrially as a raw material suitable for being pressed in the form of plastic boards.
